TGIF TALKGROUP AND NET LEAVES DMR BRANDMASTER AND WIRES-X

TGIF TALKGROUP AND NET LEAVES DMR BRANDMASTER AND WIRES-X

Many of you may have listened to the TGIF Talkgroup or checked into the TGIF Net on Fridays at 8:00 PM on DMR Brandmaster Talkgroup 31665. We had been auto-linking to this net for the past few weeks on the 145.440 MHz DMR/multi-mode repeater. As announced by the talkgroup admin and net control Robert K4WZV last Friday, the TGIF Talkgroup is being discontinued and the net moving to his own dedicated internet server apart from the Brandmaster network. Accordingly, the TGIF Talkgroup 31665 is no longer functioning and you can remove it from your DMR codeplug. CORRECTION: The TGIF Net is also no longer available on the 145.150 Fusion/FM repeater Wires-X system.

I am now into digital radio and hotspots. I run 12 stand alone hot spots. On DMR you can find me on our new server. The TGIF network. We use talk group 9. If you need directions on how to add our server to your hot spot just e-mail me. We are also on NXDN TGIF 31665, or on D-Star Ref 66D, On C4FM, YSF US BM TGIF 31665 and my wires X room TGIF room node 28418. Yaesu fusion Wires X   and works really well. Also you can catch me on P25 talk group TGIF 31665 which is bridged also to my DMR talk group. Please stop by our TGIF talk group anytime and give us a shout. We have a really great group of guys who would welcome anyone with open arms. I run a net on the TGIF talk group every Friday at 8:30 PM Est. Please stop by and check in. You can also check in via the web. We are no longer attached to Brandmeister and never will be again.
