An Invitation to All OVMRC Members with HF Access
Your participation in the Pot Hole Net is important for the Club to assess its ability to network and communicate in HF and to document its presence in the HF amateur spectrum. It also provides a fun way for you to assess your own ability to communicate via HF while making your callsign heard in the HF bands.
If you are new to HF, the Pot Hole Net provides a friendly way to learn to operate in the HF bands in the SSB mode and to tap the wealth of knowledge and wisdom from some of the most experienced Club members. In HF, there is always the possibility of a favourable skip and propagation resulting in unexpected pleasant calls from stations in remote locations.

A call for the “Pot Hole Net” is made every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM 3.760 Mhz, LSB from the first weekend following Labour Day Weekend to the last weekend in June.

If you have an amateur certification with HF access, maybe newly acquired following the changes to RIC-2, I would like to invite you to log to the Pot Hole Net and add your name and callsign to the OVMRC Roster of HF Net Controllers by indicating your availability to the OVMRC.  If you would like to volunteer for nets in only one of the bands and/or for a particular date or set of dates, please feel free to indicate your preferences. The pre-amble is here.
